Lost In The Crowd

Participate in Pankration match is the best way to acquire Jetton now, I don’t think anyone will debate this since another way to acquire Jetton is trade Imperial Piece with stupidly low exchange rate. (ie. 1 Imperial Gold Piece for 200 Jettons) Back in day participate in Pankration match is basically impractical since there were over crowded in every cage have to spam and get lucky to register your pet on top of waiting 48 minutes for a match to take place to get 5-150 Jettons. I prefer to meriting to gain Imperial Standing Point and use them to buy Imperial Gold Piece that I usually get 1-3 Imperial Gold Coins in an hour. I eventually stop doing Pankration for a quite while because there are no useful reward and obviously waste of time to participate the match, but now things have changed.

I need Jetton to buy Soul Trapper and Soul Plate so I can get Zeni for ZNM, not only now Pankration has viable reward but participating also a lot easier, now Pankration is interesting again. I don’t know if SE fix registration process or just low participant in Pankration anyway it is good thing, now I can get match finished in 5 minutes and usually get to fight with system assigned pet which I would say it is way easier to beat than player pet. My current pet is a chariot type which I get from Armored Chariot last Arrapago Remnants run I joined, it has resist poison for innate feral skill -_- and always lost if opponent can get to its side (usually when opponent move when my chariot use WS as I observed) because it never adjust itself to face the opponent again.

I decide to build a new pet and retire my noob chariot but now I haven’t decided which type of mob yet. I ask (actually harass them with message spam should be more proper here too!) few friends who are mastered in Pankration about what pet I should get and do some research on BG and FF11 wiki, come up with this.

• Light Elemental
• Dark Elemental
• Mimic
• Chigoe
• Rabbit

And apparently chariot is gimped as a pet! So now I have 2 things to do before I start a new pet, choose a monster family and planning on skill I give to it. Unfortunately I barely browse Pankration forum on BG before they migrate server which cause some thread lost during the process, so now I what I have is Pankration forum that have only 2 pages with random thread that mostly not usable for me :\

Few idea I have got is Dark or Light Elemental with heavy magic casting , Chigoe with additional effect elemental damange or en-petrify, Rabbit with theif job and evasion trait, and it seems instant-defensive spell such like instant-stoneskin, instant-ice spike, instant-blink is a must too. My goal is build pet that will garantee a win versus NPC opponent, not much care about versus another player pet. Would be great if can get garantee 100 Jettons every 5 minutes, don’t you think?
