Lost In The Crowd

Well what to start, I got Thursday off since it is a Buddhist holiday so I get good chance to do some more event with LS and resulting in one of the most funniest day since I returned!

Ixion, the fight that I really want to do but barely have a chance since the camp and pop time never accommodate me. Today I wake up and find we still camp it so I join them immediately, we successfully claim it in East Ronfaure (S) after. Unfortunately Ronfaure is only place that I didn’t activate Maw so I can’t use NPC teleport from my nation there, so I run from Jugner to Ronfaure to join them instead. When I got there it seems they got the fight stabilized so I took opportunity to get some nice screen shot

Unfortunately (again, or should I use fortunately?) one of our tank down so I get a chance to tank it for the first time! The fight is interesting, I have to say either it has strange AI and weird WS or I just fail at tanking :\ all the time it would just stay on me and the co-tank for few second and run out to hump random target and back to us again and repeat.

When it is on me it would just use random WS frequently while barely did a normal attack which is kind of good since most of his WS are ignore shadow and rather weak so I can just cure after, sometimes the WS lands for ridiculous high damage though I still figure out why. The move that they told me to try to avoid by move to its side while it was charging his horn in order to use those WS are really confusing me, simply because I don’t familiar with its timer and get worse when it use on my co-tank instead of me.

So sometime I just don’t bother and point it somewhere else (mostly to the wall) so the WS won’t hit the rest of people and suck it up, both of them didn’t do severe damage anyway but the additional effect are kind of annoying. It eventually get better in late of fight though because I get used to timer and adjust myself more correctly I supposed.

Drops are good I guess since we got something else beside crafting materials too, Azroth and Ixion’s Cape. Ixion’s Cape has pretty charming status but it is a shame that RDM can’t wear it, else I would like to get one too :\
