I have so many DVD image files on my hard drive most of them are from TV series, think about it, 1 season of TV show usually has 6 discs so about 25 Gb right there and some shows I follow are at season 3-5 so yeah buying new hard drive time is due. But wait! maybe there is something I can do about it. I was thinking about compress them using 7 zip and man don’t ask me how that went, all I can say is it involves 45 minutes of processing and only about 200 Mb less of size. So I google around and just realize hey I can rip the DVD and still can watch them on my HDD media player since I’m no longer interest in burning those movies on DVD anymore. Nice to meet you MeGUI.
First encoding guide with MeGUI I found was created since early 2006 and included 45 pages or so which some of early pages images are gone so it doesn’t help much but at least I get some idea. I search some more and found A LOT of guide on the internet, however, some of them are pretty much the same. Here is link of decent guide I found (some of them are in Thai).

After a week of messing around with configuration, filters and stuff now I’m ready to convert all of DVD files I have and regain my little precious hard drive space! Oh and playing with MeGUI yell at me how gimp my PC is when it comes to encoding video 😦
